2026 Election Schedule

UPDATE 8/23/2026: Elections will be held on the night of September 14, 2026. Elections will run from 6:30pm to 7:30pm by written ballot with the member meeting starting at 7pm. You do not need to stay for the results so please consider stopping by to vote. The position of Secretary and Treasurer are uncontested. Paula Cavalieri will continue as club secretary for another year. George Emanual will be the Treasurer for the next year replacing Joe Staier. A written vote for the three BOD seats will be held. The candidates are:

  • Carl O’Brien: I am a life member having joined OCSA in 2016. I am active in Precision Pistol. My current Board of Directors term ends September 2026 and would like to continue helping the club as a current board member. Carl is a candidate for re-election.

  • Tom McClennan: I am a life member having joined the club in the early 80's. I am currently most active in the Black Powder group. I have been active in many area of the club over the years.

  • Dan Hatton: I have been a member since the 90s with a 7 year gap in membership due to work. I shoot rifle, shotgun, pistol, black powder and archery. You can usually find me having breakfast in the clubhouse on the weekends and most people know me from the bowler hat I wear in the fall and winter. I want to help improve the club and try to bring in more membership for all of the disciplines. I have several projects I'm currently working on for the club, and I can always use help if anyone has time to spare.

UPDATE 8/18/2026: We have four people running for three open BOD seats so there will be an election for BOD positions as outlined below. We will send an email with further election details including who is running soon.

6/22/2026: There will be an election for the Board of Directors and officers at the Annual Membership Meeting on September 14, 2026. Elections will run from 6:30pm to 7:30pm by written ballot with the member meeting starting at 7pm. A nomination list will be posted on the bulletin board at the July membership meeting for those interested in running, it will come down at the end of the August membership meeting. Any member with at least 5 consecutive years in good standing can run for office.

These elections help set the course for the next three years so please consider dropping by to cast your vote, even if you cannot stay for the meeting. Please see the club By-Laws for election and club officer information. Please see our club officials page for information on current club officials. In the event that no position is opposed, the bylaws allow the election to be suspended and those nominated automatically elected.

Ocsa Club

The Old Colony Sportsmen’s Association, also known as OCSA, was founded in 1929. OCSA is a membership based organization located in the town of Pembroke MA on approximately 45 acres of land with parking for approximately 80 cars. OCSA is dedicated to promoting the safe use of firearms by providing facilities where our members and guests can practice, participate in educational programs, and compete in organized competition. We occasionally host events for outside organizations and our main hall with an occupancy of 100 is available for rent. Information on all this can be found throughout our website.
