2019-2020 ANNUAL DUES
Starting August 1st, members may begin to pay the dues for 2019-2020 before the bills are sent out via email. If you are expecting a club work credit please wait for your bill.
Please see the Membership page for complete details on dues. It is imperative we have each members current and correct email address. If your email has changed in the last year please updated it by contacting the membership team at ocsa_membership@googlegroups.com
Include your name, membership number (from front of badge), and the reason for your email. Membership questions sent to any other email will not be answered. Only the membership team is authorized to deal with the membership database, credits and dues bills.
2019 Election Schedule
At the July membership meeting the club President will appoint an Election Committee consisting of three members, none of whom shall be an officer of the Association, to provide a slate of nominees for the various elective offices of the Association. A nomination signup sheet will be posted in the clubhouse at the end of the membership meeting. Nominations will be closed at the conclusion of the August meeting. Annual elections will take place on Monday September 9th starting at 6pm.

Rifle Range Closure Announcement
UPDATED 6/14/2019: Work on the 200 yard range will continue starting Monday June 10 and extend thru at least Tuesday the 18th. During this period all rifle range positions will be closed to allow for the downrange work. The outdoor pistol range will remain open and Tuesday night Rifle will not be affected. Watch your email, Facebook, the club announcement page, or the project page for updates.
New 5 Stand Structure
The new 5 stand is finished!! Come and shoot sporting type clay targets from the 5 shooting stands and 12 trap machines!!
Pistol Range Cleanup
On Saturday May 11th the outdoor pistol range will be closed from 9am until ~2pm for a cleanup. We are asking for volunteers to help for a $25 credit on next year’s dues. Tools for the work include dirt rakes, hay/mulch/manure forks, gas powered weed whackers, wheelbarrows, etc.
Remember, this club is your club and depends greatly on volunteer help.

Rifle Range Closure Update 3/13/19
Winter weather conditions have slowed work on the rifle range upgrade. The Chief Range Officer is extending the weekday range closure thru at least 3/15/19. The pistol range is open during this process and the rifle range will be open on the weekend, Check back for future updates. Information on the project can be found HERE.

PISTOL RANGE DAMAGE:

The chief range officer, Franco Scarpino would like to point out that there is too much damage occurring on the pistol range to the posts and baffles. Anyone who is found to be intentionally shooting at posts, shooting across lanes, shooting at rocks, (yes it's happening) etc. will be considered for disciplinary action or other allowable sanctions. Please be considerate of your fellow members.
SPENT BRASS

Spent brass left behind is collected and used to raise money for the junior rifle program. Please only place brass in the marked collection buckets. Place all steel and aluminum in the regular trash. Please DO NOT TAKE brass out of those buckets, it is for the Jr. program once it is put in there.

MARKSMANSHIP TRAINING

Chief Range Officer Franco Scarpino has announced that he will provide free Marksmanship instruction to any member who wishes to improve his or her skills. This is being offered to help all members make improved use of the facilities and reduce damage. If interested, contact Franco at "italianseabee@hotmail.com" (781) 588-5998 Monday - Wednesday for an appointment on any Saturday 9am-1pm except when IDPA is active.
200 YARD PIT REBUILD

The chief range officer, Franco Scarpino would like to make you aware that the 200 yard "pit" project will be starting soon. During weekdays it will be necessary to close the rifle range. The range will be open weekends. Please check for Email announcements, the club announcement page, Facebook page, and this project page for all information concerning the closures.

At the board meeting of November 29th, 2018, the Board of Directors approved the request of Chief Range Officer Franco Scarpino for $15,000 to implement repairs and expansion of the 200 yard rifle pits. This request was also approved by the membership at the regular meeting of November 5th, 2018. Further details will be posted to the rifle page and range closures will be announced via regular electronic means.
